Update from my original post. The company contacted me and instructed me how to cut the belt. They will send me a new belt. They also said they will update the correct cropping procedure on the website. I appreciate the company's response to me as a customer. If you want to cut your belt, just make sure you find their link where and how to do it. Original post: Well, at first we thought this was a really good belt. My son liked the look and it was very stylish. The only problem was that it was too long so we cut it with scissors like the description said. Now we have to laboriously slide the end through the buckle to use it because the end is brittle and not flat. The belt is now useless. In general, if you buy this belt, DO NOT CUT IT, just take care of the extra length.
