We had a Dometic 300 in our camper. Little did we know that it had a great deal of criticism. Gone are the days when Dometic couldn't do anything about it, so we just bought this one. The old one creaked and groaned when they sat on it, the lid was thin making it impossible to sit or stand on it. , and what we didn't know was that the base case was filled with urine. The 300's flap mechanism malfunctioned, causing urine to enter the fuselage instead of flowing down the shaft. The whole bathroom ended up smelling and we ordered this one to replace. Best money ever spent! Durable, easy-to-clean wooden lid, won't fill with urine. Hooray!
