If you are dropping your chain it is probably because your chain line is not perfect and you will likely need a different bottom bracket setting, different sprocket spacing or a variation of both because you have chosen 1X gearing . This conductor is amazing. This was absolutely necessary before upgrading my cranks because kicking the chain off the railroad tracks and bigger bumps, I've had nightmares of bumpy San Diego roads and my chain snapping off the cogs. This chain guide, when properly installed and adjusted, has reduced my chain drop from 4 times per ride to 1 time per 4 rides. That's a huge difference! The only thing I can think of is that the hardware is pretty cheap and easy to take apart. But that's a pretty familiar thing from Origin 8. Are you alright. This is a very good chain guide and unbeatably easy for the money.
