As for the bat, the hoop looks ok but when I put the fabric in the hoop and stretched it as much as possible the tension was good at the top and bottom but not the sides. Maybe it's because the quality doesn't match that of the Brother embroidery hoop. It's a bit thinner and therefore doesn't give the fabric enough tension. When I used it for embroidery and couldn't hold it on the fabric well enough, it ruined my embroidery, broke my needle and caused my machine to break down and cost me a lot more money to repair. smart penny, dumb pound like me and end up paying more for a cheap item. I would NOT recommend this tire.
