We were waiting for a cold day and today my daughter was excited to try them. Even though the weather was in the 40's they kept it nice and warm and they had 3M Thinsulate so they should be able to get the job done this winter with no problems. She is 6 years old and size 4-7 fits her perfectly. She can put them on herself. The first time she tried, her thumb got caught in the palm of the glove and she had to fix it, but otherwise everything was fine. The Velcro on the wrist is handy to tighten to hold in your hands and should work well in combination with the band in the cuff to keep snow out. The construction is solid, I could not find any manufacturing defects or errors. - Stitched seams. The fabric is just gorgeous - metallic purple that she loves and calls "princess purple". It has a crumpled feel but is thin and not stiff, so comfortable and not too loud. Made in China. Outer material 100% nylon. Lining/padding/palms 100% polyester. Cuff 100% acrylic. Machine wash in cold water, line dry.
