In the beginning my three children and I liked them. They seemed to be the perfect size and my kids were happy to get their own colors. At first we only poured water, so there were no problems with washing. But then we had our 3 year old use it for milk and when I washed it with hot soapy water it melted inside to the point where a little pressure broke. And we are talking about ordinary hot water. There is nothing worse than what a dishwasher would do. Although I would rate this item higher, they won't do you any good if they melt in the wash.
