I bought this frame to replace an existing plastic mop frame that cost almost the same but just wasn't up to the job. I have found that the mop slides off my old holder and doesn't stop until the handle reaches the holder and is too thick to slide through. It's good that I set it high enough so that the mop doesn't hit the floor when sliding down. :-) This Fulgente mop holder solved my problem. Reliably holds a mop - won't slip or slide off. The hook is handy for holding our rag. Ideally attach this to a stud, but if you can't then at least use a drywall anchor. You won't regret it in the long run. Very good quality mop/broom holder that should hold up well.
