I've been looking at several tablets to help people get started with digital art. I am very impressed with VEIKK's A15. I've never seen a tablet with so many quick access options! This tablet could almost make your keyboard obsolete! TL;DRPros: 12 hotkeys side by side, large workspace, 8k pen pressure sensitivity, ring color options, light weight, 90 degree adapter, glove, tons of tips! Cons: no pen holder. Wishlist: tilt detection. For this I use Corel Painter 2019 and Mystic Mountains brushes by Bob Ross. I really enjoyed working with the A15 and it may be my favorite VEIKK tablet so far! The surface has the right texture to get a nice paper feel when working with the stylus. The Artist's Glove lets your hand slide as you work, until you even forget you're working on a digital tablet. The glove is not needed as it only recognizes the pen and not your hand. The great advantage of this tablet is that it has indicator lights for each mode. Power on, the pen touches the tablet and a button is pressed. This can be of great help when troubleshooting and also great if you pick up the WRONG STYLE from your collection. (I can neither confirm nor deny that this happened). The stylus that comes with the A15 is my favorite so far, it's larger than the ones that come with some other tablets and I prefer it. It feels really good closer to the brush. It's not heavy but has a good sense of weight. One of the coolest things here is the 12 hotkeys side by side! Since they're next to each other, it's SUPER easy to match things like UNDO/REDO, scale on canvas, adjust brush size, etc. Another really cool feature of VEIKK software is that you can set almost every CUSTOM option for the program you where you work. So if you have a specific set of Photoshop shortcuts you can create a pure Photoshop profile and then when you switch to Painter or After Effects you can create other profiles. The software is also smart enough to know when to switch between them (which you can also do as one of the shortcut keys if you want. You can map pretty much anything to these keys, mouse clicks, key presses, multiple key presses, etc. Even though it seems like I repeat this so often, it's because of how important it is to me. Even with my tablet, which costs ten times as much, I still have to use my keyboard. There are entire companies that do it making third party hardware to add this kind of functionality to expensive tablets All of this in a compact interface has really saved me a lot of switching and I think it's great if you're a beginner or a seasoned artist I think a pen stand is one of the biggest areas where VEIKK could improve and that shouldn't put anyone off using this tablet because at this price point I have gla Don't practice that you can top it, and you can always add it later. said on other tablets i wish they would add tilt detection to their tablets but i knew it wasn't included and honestly you can make any adjustment you want for brush angle and strength in pretty much any software drawing accessory require. Also, you can really customize the settings in the VEIKK app and that's not a problem. As such, it's a super versatile tablet with so many customization options that it's one of the best digital art deals on Amazon. If you're looking for tablets in this range (or even at a much higher price point) I'd say don't look, just decide which color ring you want in the VEIKK A15. (I chose red, it matches the color scheme of my computer accessories)
