These bowls are fantastic. (I will confess I modified one of the bowls by drilling a hole in the bottom, flattening it and 3D printing a tiny tamper for it. But I only did this with one of the bowls for making fresh nut butter cups, because without the tiny nut butters they tend to get stuck over the motor too often.) They're great for small sauce portions, baby food, food storage and pretty much anything. In addition, the lids for these bowls are of great use in our home. Sometimes we use them as coasters; Sometimes we use them as lids for our mugs to keep out heat or bugs. Sometimes we use it as a lid for brewing tea in an iced tea glass. Also great as a lid for our tea glasses so we can brew the tea in the glass and still keep it warm. It even goes well with our asymmetric rimmed cups! for which no other lid (even silicone lids for covering drinks) has ever been suitable! Because this lid has a smaller cup on one side and a larger cup on the outside, it fits a variety of hole sizes. So even on days when we don't use bowls, we still use lids.
