HONEST AND OBJECTIVE REVIEW

I have bought pillowcases from 5 different brands to see which is the best. This is an honest appraisal of the pillowcases I bought directly. And I wasn't paid to write these reviews. Fishers Finery was the softest pillowcase of the 5. It also had a waxy feel that seemed to leave marks on my fingers. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing, but I think it's a positive thing. The THX Silk pillowcase took second place. Although both are 19, the THX Silk pillowcase was noticeably thinner than the material, which was odd. Also, it was a bit smoother. The only thing that almost made me decide on the THX Silk pillowcase was the presence of edges on the pillowcases. This made the THX Silk case much prettier. But in the end I settled on the Fishers Finery for the softer feel. Please don't take my review to mean that the Zima and Jimoo silk pillowcases were terrible. It's not like that at all. I tried to pick the 5 pillowcases that were the best based on the reviews. It's just that after comparing the pillowcases, the Zima and Jimu pillowcases turned out to be significantly inferior in quality to the other 2 silk pillowcases. I think that's to be expected because they were both about 40% cheaper. Comparing these two pillowcases, I found that the Zima pillowcase is a bit softer and smoother than the Jimoo pillowcase. :10 convolution:7 This one was weird. It was the softest I've ever bought. The Fishery felt a little more waxy but was definitely smoother. :4 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XDN6SHN/JIMOO - $24.99 Total: 5 Smoothness: 5 Wrinkles: 3 This was the least smooth of all the silk pillowcases. I don't know if that means it's real silk or if it goes with something else like polyester. It can also be associated with other weavings. Anyhow, it's definitely not that smooth and doesn't have a waxy smoothness. I also noticed that it was smooth in one direction but not perpendicular, which was unique among silk pillowcases. /www.amazon.com/gp/product/B087714954/ I wanted to compare silk to satin to see if it was worth buying a cheaper satin alternative. This product is made of bamboo viscose satin, which is considered to be one of the best satin materials. This satin was definitely not as smooth as the silk ones. But it also costs 1/4 to 1/2 silk pillowcase, which is a huge difference. Does silk affect usage? To be honest I don't think smoothness is an important factor here as both silk and satin are very smooth. So if ONLY smoothness was important to me, I would go for satin because silk isn't much smoother. However, the main reason for buying a silk case is its antibacterial properties, which are important to me. If you are concerned about the quality of your skin due to acne, I would pay and buy silk.
