Review on 13-Inch Apple MacBook Pro with 8GB RAM and 512GB SSD Storage in Space Gray - Previous Model by Mateusz Brd ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Im amazed! It was definitely worth the money!

An excellent working computer with a wild price tag, although on windows such laptops cost about the same money, paradoxically. I don’t even know much what to write about him, he just works well and doesn’t bother anything. Even if he has pronounced strengths, they become something ordinary and you do not notice them. And I also don’t know what to attribute to the shortcomings, except for fears for the quality, the lack of a card reader and the fact that the battery lives less than stated, although it lives so well. I did not try to charge from a power bank, but they say that it works. If possible - take the 256 gigabyte version. Better to poke in the store before buying.

Pros
  • Gorgeous screen, excellent build quality, comfortable keyboard, good sound, overall good performance. Virtually silent operation without load, sometimes it seems that there is no fan at all. I have not tried Final Cad, but in iMovie and da Vinci it works quite fast at 1080. If you're willing to pay, it's a great option. You get used to the type-c ports quite quickly. I have been using it for 4 months, during this time I did not reveal any jambs in assembly or marriage, I did not encounter any difficulties. liquidity in the secondary market. The best praise is the absence of negative reviews. And there are a couple of complaints.
Cons
  • Price and a bunch of concerns about quality. That is, now it works just fine, but this news about a sticky keyboard (I bought an overlay) and about a fraying screen cable is a little unnerving. And when buying a computer for such a price (even if it is a basic version, it is still expensive), you expect quality from it. How it will be there specifically with my copy is still difficult to say. The battery definitely does not hold the declared 10 hours, although if you just surf the Internet, then it lives for 7 hours. It makes quite a lot of noise under load, although even at the end of it it cools down quickly and ceases to seem like an airplane taking off (but you need to keep in mind that it still makes less noise than my last asus n-series). It still lacks a card reader. If you can attribute macOS bugs to this review, then there are a couple. When you try to use a microphone in safari (for example, record a FB voice message), the voice is recorded with distortion, and after that the microphone starts to work incorrectly throughout the system (even in a voice recorder, Skype, and so on), it is treated with a reboot, sent feedback on feedback, but in the version 102022.1 this bug is still present. Sometimes when using headphones, the volume drops, that is, when you turn it 100%, it will play only about half, and when you turn them off, the speakers will have the same effect. It also disappears after a reboot.
