Serves It’s Purpose Splendidly

Greenhouse went up in a flash, and was certainly simple to put together; thankfully, as the instructions were sparse at best. the wire mesh shelves are quite flimsy, even with the center support bar. to support the heavier pots, I used some leftover strips of 1”x2” cedar, running it perpendicular to the shelving bars. may opt for some scrap hog fence down the road.Had one of the tie strings, which attaches the cover to the frame, pull out, but it was easily reattached and stapled in place. and because the strings are so short, I had a devil of a time tying them securely with my big hands. also used a stapler to staple just below my half hitch to keep them tied - slick material wouldn’t hold a tight bow.Ran some parachute cord, zigzagging it across the back of the frame (ref pic), to give it extra side-to-side stability, and used some plumbing hangers to attach the base to some scrap 2”x6” scrap lumber. placed it on level ground and against my shed, so no need to anchor into the shed - not sure the attached rings would hold up to much. And as you can see in the other pic, it holds in the heat very well, despite the below freezing temps that we experienced during our recent Texas winter storm. So despite the slightly timid structure, the cost, decent material, and ease of use, makes it worthwhile purchase.
