When I first used them I found I had to add a pad from my own supply and the fit wasn't very good. However, since I replaced the mill motor and added a lift kit to the mill table, the fit became too loose so I had to remove the washer I was using. It seems my old router was sloppy. Everything was perfect with the new engine and settings. Getting a good fit was important because I'm making closets for a friend who has a bunch of cherry wood floors. I told him I could use it for the front frames and closet doors but there wasn't enough 36 inch length for all the frames and doors so I got these cutters to put the pieces together. At first I used biscuits but they weren't strong. enough of these short pieces and I'll still have a gap I've attached a picture of one of the finished door frames.
