See attached videos. I don't usually write reviews, but this system deserves it! The first three segments are all three cameras when we started our first trip very early in the morning, it was still dark, and the second three are after sunrise when the cameras switched to color instead of IR illumination. As "newbies" with such a large trailer, the cameras added an extra sense of security and awareness. We installed one on each side of the front end of the trailer and one high up in the back with the idea of using them as a backup on our very narrow road or when camping. In hindsight we will probably buy a fourth camera and mount it below to use it as a rear view while driving. Then we slightly change the angle on the high mount for reverse. Having three views on a monitor set to four views was a little tedious at first, but after 1,700 miles I didn't even notice the "dimming". " Part of the screen. On our first trip, we drove a nearly 39-foot trailer mostly over freeways through the Midwest. There was a lot of road work and narrow lanes. Side views definitely helped keep us in line and in staying on track Driving through Chicago country even around downtown was a challenge both on the way and back home Again the cameras proved invaluable I wish the clarity was a bit better but for ours they were more than adequate purpose!I wish there was a way to dim the bright headlights when IR is active.Installation was a breeze but if you can't handle it and don't disassemble and reassemble your setup a bit would like to suggest doing it The system is professionally installed I plan to come back and add pictures after we have camera 4 got. We hooked up chases for power, which requires searching for wires in the walls. was great for two front mounted cameras but we had outputs from the rear camera which was mounted high in the center back of the camper. nearly 50 feet behind the receiver in the Excursion tractor and should radiate through the ceiling and forward-facing aluminum siding of the RV, as well as through the tractor. A power amplifier/repeater would be a nice addition. The video shows what we saw on the monitor, which we set up in mirror image as if we were using our rear cameras. This worked best for both main drivers. The monitor is actually a bit sharper than the recordings, and because it records three separate channels at the same time, the 32 gigabyte card fills up quickly. I was expecting to be able to record the last hour or two of the ride, but I didn't "program" the recording at all, just left it as it came from the factory. The instructions for this part of the system were a bit lacking, but I think if I had the time I could find a loop setting in the OS to always reboot when full. Overall, however, I have very few complaints for the amount of money spent and the value received! This is a great system that I would buy from zeroxclub again if I had another trailer or even a bus if we ever go back to this style of travel.
