Review on πŸ”₯ Top-Performing TOTOLINK N150RT WiFi Router in Sleek White design by Mateusz Gniazdowski ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

As such, there are no disadvantages, it is convenient to use.

I distinctly recall being in a college dorm and being in need of a reasonably priced router. Only TP-Link came in at the lowest price, but even their products cost nearly $1,500, which was prohibitively expensive for a student. When I came upon a more affordable totolink, my first thought was that it must be some obscure, less reputable brand (which I made a big mistake - the brand is little known in 2022, and in China it is very common - even state-owned companies buy their equipment). At long last, I purchased. After six years, I took the router with me when I moved into my current apartment, and the coverage is bearable (the router is located in the center, and not at the entrance, as many people like to do). Personally, I have not upgraded my firmware from N150RT-V1.0.0-B20220416202236 since I find that it provides consistent operation overall. For the entirety of its operation, the system had a number of "glitches," each of which could be remedied by performing a routine reset. In most cases, the way I use the internet requires that I turn off the router when I go to bed. After all, what's the point in letting it sit there idling and wasting electricity while you sleep? By the way, the system-on-chip (SoC) that is installed here is the Realtek RTL8196E-CG.

Pros
  • Affordable cost (in 2022 they bought for 500 at a discount, and at that time there were no routers from Xiaomi for 700, as they are now) Warranty for three years. wall-mountable physical power button located on the casing with multiple LAN connections (now budget models are limited to 2) support for a wide variety of protocols and configurations (it is possible to reserve a separate port for IP-tv),
Cons
  • LEDs that are overly bright may not appeal to everyone. They aren't really important to me other than the fact that they can function as a night light.
