I have used a number of Dell products in the past. My main computer is a 6.5 pound Latitude E6540. My company recently released the Latitude 5590, which is a little lighter and much faster. Both are 15 inches. At first I thought the E7250 had an identical keyboard (minus the number pad on the right) to the 5590. However, measuring from "tilde" to "backspace" I find the 5590 to be 10.75 inches and the E7250 is 10.25. Not many compromises given the size of the E7250. I am very happy with the performance compared to my E6540. I assume that most of the video problems I'm experiencing are related to my 10MB DSL, not my computer. Last night I left the E7250 in "sleep" mode and found that I had 90% battery in AM. Small screen size. Sufficient for what I need. , it fits my E6540 dock so I can easily use it with my KVM and big monitor when I'm at home. needs to remember the initial position of the fingers and "think a littleβ when typing, but this is very convenient. meaning battery life continues to be great. I use the computer intermittently, frequently going to sleep and not charging it for three or four days. "Booting" after hibernation is very fast. I'm still very happy with this little machine.
