Our dogs passed their annual checkup the day I received this order from Revain. Well our veterinary office was TERRIBLE when we mentioned we bought the collar and almost DEMANDD that we throw it away immediately! They ranted for 10 minutes about how they cripple dogs with spinal injuries (like chain collars which I already knew about) and how these things can cause throat, esophagus and other injuries and can easily result in dog DEATH! OMG, I had no idea! The husband asked if they are so bad, why are they still being sold? The answer is: Manufacturers have lobbyists who pay them to fight for them in Washington. Spirit. money speaks! It takes years and years to take something off the market once it hits the market! I was so upset with this I didn't know what to do other than go home and write this review. As soon as I took a picture of it I threw it in the trash without returning it lest someone else end up with a dead dog. Please pass it on and don't use it!
