These tow ropes are the easiest to use secure tow-to-tow connection I've found. There are two versions. The one in the photo weighs 7,000 pounds or less and is a heavier version with metal mounts instead of rubber if that's what you prefer. What makes them easy to use is that they are permanently twisted so they don't leave the ground. I used zip ties to cross the cables under the hitch so their ends were next to the ends of the drawbar. When I connect the tow bar to the vehicle to be towed, the ends of the tow rope are already attached and just need to be hooked into the socket. Stop searching under the car for a loose chain. A word of WARNING. Make sure the cables are not directly under the lowest hitch point. I wasn't careful and as I was going up the hill the hitch hit the pavement and the cable got stuck between the hitch and the pavement. He cut the cord so I ordered a new set.
