Poor quality, I will not buy this product again.

The first disc I used had quite a few undesirables on it. Hardly swapped for another; in the shop, they put up a lot of resistance to the trade. Based on the feedback from the network, it seems to be a rather frequent ailment. Victoria served as the tester. There are hiccups in the speed of USB 2.0, which averages around 30 megabytes per second but is not consistently fast. Even though I waited for two days, I did not wait until the end of the test to answer the question. At the beginning of the disk, the speed of the USB 3.0 connection is 110 megabytes per second. Towards the conclusion of the disk, the speed drops to 70 megabytes per second. Only on Ali could I find the cable that I needed. And the primary letdown is that, contrary to the assessments that can be found on the network, the controller has been soldered with this non-standard interface, which is a very unfavorable feature. At first, I saw a video of this apparatus being disassembled. In the movie, the external connection bar was shown to be distinct from the disk itself, and it was seen being placed into the SATA interface of the most difficult one. I disassembled it and looked it up on my own, and I was really disappointed to find that nothing at all like what was shown in the video; instead, everything is soldered onto one board. The controller for the external connection is protected, but the hard drive itself does not need to be kept; it can be discarded. It is not compatible with any other SATA devices, so you won't be able to use it in any other computers. It is going to be quite challenging to extract information from it! There is no possibility of any backups being made on it at all. That is the configuration offered by Toshiba! Despite this, it is quite likely that they do it on purpose in order to increase the frequency with which they purchase inexpensive equipment.

Pros
  • Conveniently sized, reasonably priced, and spacious.
Cons
  • Very unsteady quality. Cord that is not standard and is quite short. There is no case provided. Soldered controller!
