I bought one of these seats about five months ago and it cost more. Also, the kit did not include a seat cover or reflective strips. I have to say this is a very comfortable bike seat and easy to install. The light is quite bright and you don't have to look for a place to install it or worry about it falling off. Because of the way I ride off-road, I've lost a few good taillights due to road or trail conditions. I ride a motorized bike that is checked every time I ride. I don't worry about making a jump or hitting bad rocks on the track or potholes on the road. That's me, my bike and the wind. I drive to enjoy nature and what it can bring. So if you're undecided. In my humble opinion you won't be wasting your money, especially at this price point, overall the seat is very well made and very comfortable. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
