Review on πŸ”© Stainless Steel Drywall Anchors with Tapping Screws by Michael Caste

Screws do not always tighten properly

Installing the wall piece in drywall worked well, as have all other brands of this type from the shops that I have used before. Where are these problems when trying to use the insert screw? The internal threads on the zinc drywall brackets are poorly formed. So if you don't press on the threads before inserting them into the wall, you will "unscrew" the zinc wall insert into the drywall as the insert screw tightens in its way. Customs service. This will result in the drywall zinc insert destroying the drywall hole and rendering the area unusable. I haven't had this problem before and didn't expect it. This problem can be solved by drilling the internal threads with a screw before inserting it into the wall, but that's just an extra step and hassle that really shouldn't be necessary.

Pros
  • Drill bit fails to drill a precise hole in wood or double drywall etc. Hole preparation is not required.
Cons
  • A few small things
