Only thing worth the money is the main cable. It's durable and long. I swapped out the hooks for galvanized closed loop hooks after a hook on our 75 pound dog immediately buckled. I also added a swivel buckle when reinstalling to tighten the cord as I have a bad shoulder and installed it myself. Now that I've been through this, the pulley loves to get stuck. Our dog just stops when hit. He's trained not to pull too hard. So I have to get out and pull the cable to make the reel move again. I would say it's defective but I really think the pulley is just bad quality.
