A good quality product, I rate this purchase perfectly.

Yamaha, having invented and made this model, jumped above its head, in reality, in the budget segment up to 10,000, you can’t find better bookshelf speakers with 3-band and three stripes! I bought a video for 8990r, I am satisfied with the purchase, there are no negative and obvious disadvantages to the acoustics, they deserve attention, I didn’t bring any gag into the speakers and I’m not going to do it better than the manufacturer, and I don’t consider myself smarter than Yamaha engineers.

In my opinion, Yamaha is doing the right thing by not removing them from production because the model turned out to be quite successful and, most importantly, it is successful and in demand among the consumer.

Pros

The sound, as it should sound, 3 bands with SL, especially medium-high ones, plays chic for this, and took them and did not regret the expectations were met, they play very ringing on the HF and there is that “chik” that I love, there is a certain “glass” in the sound for me personally me it's a plus. With regards to the bottoms with them, too, everything is OK, no subwoofer is needed, thanks to the closed case, the bass is quite biting and clear, there is no "bubbling" a room of 15 sq. m. I'm not a big fan of low frequencies, so such parties don't happen often. They play in tandem with the Yamaha AX 700v, the sound is awesome. The appearance also deserves attention, it is concise and strict, the black front part with piano lacquer imitation inserts in a cube with three white speakers looks chic, fits almost any interior and style, beautiful grill design ( decorative mesh). I also liked the fastening of cables, they are reliable and, most importantly, they are universally suitable for any type of connection (bananas, a shovel or a regular screw clamp).

Cons

Unless the walls of the case are thin, I would like it to be thicker and heavier, there are no spikes in the kit and a connection cable, but this is more of a nitpick for such a price. As soon as you bought it, you connected it (I'm talking about new ones), you practically won't hear the bottoms, so they require warming up for at least a month and a half, only after a sane bass appears.
