Review on 5" Heavy Duty Stainless Steel U-Bolt Muffler Clamps With Multiple Uses - Saddle Style by Adam Townsend

I didn't buy this to use as an exhaust clamp, first of all. I purchased the 4 inch "heavy duty stainless steel" clamp, based on the ridiculously clean and flat braces pictured (and every size has it's OWN pictures, so it isn't a "product representaion").Well, the brace looks nothing like the pictures- the lower curve of the plate brace is very shallow, just like any other cheap brand. Also, the bottom of the brace is NOT flat and even, it was obviously bent in a hurry for cheap mass production, and the holes weren't quite centered.This will be fine for it's original application, but don't get too excited by the "multiple uses!" tagline, because these are kind of rough for anything that you wouldn't just use another cheap clamp for.Btw, I wanted the braces to use as mounting feet for a homemade roof rack I am building for a 2018 4Runner. if the braces were as pictured, they would be a PERFECT FIT for the roof channels, which would be a huge deal for us 5th gen 4R folks. Back to the drawing board!
