I bought a medium size in khaki for my Australian Labradoodle boy who is considered a 'small medium'. I searched online and local retail stores for a fleece lined waterproof coat that would cover most of his torso. Most of them were too short if they fit on his chest, or too big in the chest if they were long enough to cover his torso, and even got wet in the abdomen when he squatted down to urinate. This met all the criteria; While a little shorter than I was hoping for, it still worked reasonably well to keep my dog warm and dry in the rain and snow this winter.
