Review on 👧 Columbia Sportswear Shimmer Me II Jacket for Girls by Eric Power

My 6 year old (tall, size 6 above) loves this jacket and I think we can wear it for a couple of seasons. It seems to work well in all winter conditions (cold to moderate winter days, skiing) with just a long sleeve shirt or t-shirt underneath and my kid finds the pockets really warm and cosy. I was apprehensive about the jacket when we first got it as it is feather light and looks like it could tear easily, but it has withstood a lot of activity (including the occasional concrete scrape) over the past few months of daily wear. . My only complaint is that the zipper was difficult to use for the first two weeks. My kid has been zipping up his jackets for at least 2 years so it was annoying but she liked the jacket enough to hold it and didn't need help with the zip for weeks.
