These earrings are just beautiful but it was impossible to put them on. There is not much space between the pen and the substrate it is inserted into. Unless you have gauzy earlobes, you will need to place the earring on the earlobe and then attempt to thread it through the piercing. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't get it through the piercing and ended up with a very sore ear from trying. As others have said, they are not very secure. One earring tightly closed and the other constantly open. I am very disappointed and hope I received the wrong pair.
