What to expect for the price

You get what you pay for. This is an easy, inexpensive solution if you have a very bright window especially in your bedroom. Not light blocking , but rather light shading. I have too much light coming through the blind in my bedroom. This shade/curtain helps. Material is lightweight - polyester or rayon -and not well made. I doubt it has any insulation properties. However, it does help to filter the light. I don't think it will be very durable, but it was quite inexpensive. If I wasn't so lazy I'd get some nicer fabric and make one. I bought white.
