Review on πŸŒ‚ Smith Kung Fu Windproof Umbrellas: Innovative Folding Umbrellas by Melissa Vaughn

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I love the name, I love the umbrella!

With a name like Kung Fu Smith, how can you go wrong? But seriously, as much as I love the name, an umbrella has to be really well made to work properly. I am pleased to say that this umbrella delivers. When folded, it is compact and therefore does not take up much space in your car, bag or backpack. It's nowhere near the size of a giant golf umbrella, but it's certainly a compact umbrella that folds up fairly compactly so you can easily slip it in your bag. Even if it is quite small when folded, it can be unfolded into a nice big umbrella at the push of a button. Press the button again and the screen folds back together. Like it a lot! I love that this umbrella has a hooked handle instead of the small handle that many compact umbrellas have. The hook shape is easier and more convenient to hold, and also allows you to hang the umbrella on a hook or on your wrist. I also like the durability of this umbrella. So far it has withstood the crazy windy weather without deforming or turning inside out. Winter winds are blowing for the next few months and I think it's going to be a real challenge. I don't know if a teflon coating is common on umbrellas, but it works on this one, allowing the rain to collect in drops and roll off quickly. I don't mind the logo on the umbrella as I enjoy the name (get it haha). I chose basic black; I'm just a fan of black in clothes and accessories, including umbrellas. You simply can't go wrong with black as it is such a chic and classic choice. However, I may need to buy one of these in a more feminine color to prevent my husband and son from "permanently borrowing" my Kung Fu Smith umbrella because they found out that it was among several umbrellas in our messy room"good is. . So far this umbrella has held up well and is easy to use. It's sturdy and well made, big for how compact it folds, and definitely a head (or two or three or four) bigger than cheap discount store umbrellas.
