They are fully compatible with my LEGO brand Duplo pipe sets. I expected it with real bumps but not pipe joints. Pipe connections are fully compatible. A LEGO-branded set costs around $1 each, but that doesn't include the pretty container it comes in or the building cards. This set costs about 75 cents each. The biggest advantage of this set compared to the LEGO brand Duplo set is that you can buy a small set.
