We use them in the nursery and on the go, but the scent has an expiry date. We bought two packs and by the time we got to the second pack the usual fresh smell you get when you open the pack was gone. Then when they were used they didn't have that strong fresh smell so they were less affective. I still give this five stars because it fits multiple diapers, which is why we use it in the table jar in the nursery. We also take them with us in a diaper bag, so if we ever have to leave a diaper with friends, it doesn't stink in the kitchen. The only problem I really have is the sticker on the outside of each individual roll. It tears the bag in two places, top and bottom, and makes the bag unusable, just don't use glue. We generally order a pack of six and it lasts so long that when we start sinking we just order another one. . This works well for us because by the time we get to the next pack, they seem to have lost their nice smelling properties.
