The gloves were very well made and had a very soft fleece lining, but after taking them off and putting them back on the gloves were noticeably harder to put on. them when the fleece gets wet. I bought this glove for a trip to Colorado in November when it was very cold. It was about -10C, which is very cold. But again, this is far from an advertised product description saying -30F or something like -35C. I wore the gloves for about 25 minutes and my hands started to freeze, but to be honest it was very windy that day. They will be good maybe 1 hour before it gets cold. Again, walking barehanded is much worse as you can get frostbite and gloves will protect you from that, but you will definitely get cold. Overall this is a good buy for hiking or walking in the cold. To ski? No, definitely not, because there is so much wind and it's getting uncomfortably cold. Overall, that's to be expected for the price, which is why I'm giving it no less than 4 stars.
