Purchased to replace an old Braun razor. Provides a close shave, almost as close as a brown. Replacement shaving heads are inexpensive. I used it for about 2 weeks, the trimmer seemed to be clogged and stopped working. There's no way to clean the trimmer, it's practically dead. The retractable trimmer's design is odd and unlike most other razors. It protrudes sideways at a 90-degree angle, making it very uncomfortable to use. The trimmer only works one way (if it works), if you cut it it's fine, but when you cut it the trimmer folds back into the body of the razor. Without the trimmer this would be a good shaver, especially given the price. In addition, the sides of the razor are made of slippery plastic, so the grip is not very good. You could use a grippier or softer plastic to easily solve this problem.
