so my son is 2 years old and I assumed he woke up a billion times every night because he was teething. I bought it for him after reading the reviews and not having a single awakening for two weeks! Also, he no longer cries when he goes to bed. This lamp is very easy to use, it has a button that can control the brightness when you turn it and when you press it again it has a RGB cycle mode. The image is static so nothing moves but it is very bright. We give the lamp to my son when he is about to fall asleep and when we go in to turn it off he hugs it <3 The best thing about this product is that it's rechargeable, so you don't have to worry about batteries. and whether your child can engage in it. Also 5 stars for durability because we only have tiles in our house and they have survived decent falls without exposure to light. It also has a small handle to make it easy for small hands to hold.
