Review on Original German Shammy Absorbent Bathroom by George Santana

I bought this towel set because my basement had a small leak during the rain and I needed something to catch the water. I have to admit that I was skeptical because of the "Made in West Germany" stamp that adorns the product. These things were made 30 years ago? Will they work? The very next night these towels were called for service and they were amazing. It wasn't a jet of water, but it would easily overflow any towels—paper or otherwise—that I could put down. However, these towels soaked up all the water and held it. They worked great. I can't talk to cars about their use. I didn't buy them for this purpose and didn't use them in this way. So I can't give an opinion on that. But if you need super absorbent towels to clean up your basement water, I can tell you they're excellent.
