Know what you get. These are residential grade latches using one of the most common keying methods in the US (Kwikset KW1). Then again, this is also a bonus. I was also given a key changing kit for Kwikset locks (the regular brand for around $40) and was able to quickly pick six of those locks in a very short amount of time. Now I have a key that opens all the outside locks in my house and I didn't pay the $45 for EACH that the local locksmith was trying to charge me. 10 minutes on youtube. However, it is easy to choose. If that bothers you, you need a more secure lock.
