I was a bit skeptical about using them at first as I had never heard of Hinson Motorsports before. I bought these for my 2010 Camaro SS to complete my L99 to LS3 engine swap. I had a $200 Granatelli wire set that had the coil side cover ripped off when I removed the old motor. That's when I decided that I would never again spend that kind of money on a set of wires. Anyway these wires are of very good quality. The boots appear to be firmly attached to the wire, but we'll see how they hold up. I use them with long Texas Speed and Performance headers with no factory heat shields and no Kevlar heated boots as I don't think they are needed. The Hinson boots and cables have handled the heat with no issues so far. I was also happy that the red under the hood matched my theme, but it would have been nice if they offered a few more color options. The only complaint or suggestion I would make is that they really could have been about a half inch longer, but they still fit even if it were tight - my spools are still in the standard position on top of the valve covers . All in all, this is a great cable set at a very good price. 5 Stars!
