I've had an electrical problem in an old jeep for a number of years. I actually changed the batteries thinking it would help, going from a traditional lead acid battery to another Optima Red Top. I know the Red Tops aren't the quality they were 20 years ago, but they're still a decent battery. Dead as dead after 12 months, charger etc. I think I've solved the electrical problem so I decided to try and get this new battery working again. I tried charging this device in AGM mode, I really didn't like it. Tested on a boot device (from eBay, not AMZ) and set it on fire. Put it in pulse repair mode, nothing to lose, right? Two days later it was shut down, I didn't know what that meant. Tested with load tester, everything ok. Started right after that to go well. For the money, a $200 battery repair makes it a steal. If it works again on a different battery, I'm even more in the money. If you like old cars this is worth a visit.
