Review on ๐Ÿ”Œ Renogy 9-Inch 12 AWG Solar Extension Cables with Female and Male Connectors - 1 Pair by Brian Quenzer

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Just over 12 AWG.

Bought for Suaoki 100W flexible panel, connected easily. The wire appears to be slightly over 12 gauge, but not exactly 10 gauge. The average thickness is .950 inch and approaches 11 AWG. The wire appears to have been made by a Chinese company, so how they converted their size to US standards is probably an error. Another possibility is that the end of the wire appears to be tinned, which may have increased the size. I ended up using a 10 gauge (45 amp) Anderson Power Pole connector. He crimped without play. Copper strands so that they do not fit into the plug. Since I only needed this pair of connectors, it made more sense than building my own cable. Some reviews claim polarity marked incorrectly, but I don't see any polarity markings on mine. I ended up using a Sharpie silver marker to put my own polarity markings on the connectors to match the same markings I had placed on the panel.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
