Works as intended Good for solar and wind power

These adapters work as intended and are of very good quality. I have always been happy with everything I have purchased from the Renogy brand, including solar panels.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Null

Don't stay well in the charge controller.

Cheap and they work but you will spend a lot of time reinstalling them because they keep falling off. And I'm not new. I have 2 other solar systems with different cables and have never had a problem with them falling out. I also paid more for it.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Expandable

Only 9 " long, optimal for solar and wind power

Product worked great but title says 9ft. I would guess they meant 9 inches. I didn't have time to return the item but now I need to add an extension cord to get to the solar panel. As a result, this product is of little use. This item should be designed to provide a quick connection to the charge controller.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Minor issues

Works as it should: parts and accessories for solar and wind power

These cable lugs were connected to the terminals on the solar generator. They allow longer panel cables to be easily connected/disconnected. The solar generator is built into a robust tool box on wheels (100 Ah battery + solar controller + inverter + multimeter). At home, four 100-watt solar panels charge the battery. When camping, three flexible 120W panels charge the battery.

Pros
  • Hands-free calling
Cons
  • Everything is fine

Marked with plus and minus (positive and negative leads)

Cables had to be purchased to connect the solar panel to the solar charger. The solar panel manufacturer (NewPowa) did not include them when purchasing the solar panel. The 9 inch cable was a bit short and I might recommend a slightly longer cable. The wires are not single, but twisted (definitely not copper). But it worked and I'm happy.

Pros
  • Excellent price
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Comfort at a fair price

Renogy AK-9IN-12 A pair of 9-inch. 12AWG Adapter Kit Solar PV Cables with Mc4 Male and Female Connectors - connect solar panel and charge controller. The benefit of these suggestions is that - as long as the extension cords connecting the solar panels to the charge controller are also 12AWG - there is no need to cut the ends of those cords. In other words, these connectors offer convenience at a reasonable price.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Just over 12 AWG.

Bought for Suaoki 100W flexible panel, connected easily. The wire appears to be slightly over 12 gauge, but not exactly 10 gauge. The average thickness is .950 inch and approaches 11 AWG. The wire appears to have been made by a Chinese company, so how they converted their size to US standards is probably an error. Another possibility is that the end of the wire appears to be tinned, which may have increased the size. I ended up using a 10 gauge (45 amp) Anderson Power Pole connector. He crimped

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • boring packaging
