I Salvaged My Old Wooden Chairs

REVIEW ORIG 03/26/17: I have a couple of old wooden chairs that are quite sturdy, but each chair has lost at least one of the original rails. from his leg. This exposed the nail head - not good for the floor! First I went and bought replacement rails and nailed them down. Unfortunately they soon came loose and popped out, probably because I used the original nail hole and my talent for such repairs is pretty low. (I'm the remodeler type who would rather use a tension rod than figure out how to install a curtain rod. If you know what I mean, LOL) I then tried these magic sliders, which were a bit of a hassle to sit down - you like stretching a black rubber hole around the chair legs. BUT HEY IT'S COMPLETELY WORTH IT! They've been standing on chair legs for over six months now and they're still going strong. Even if they start to deteriorate and become loose I will just buy more and replace them. The chairs glide very well over the floor. It's one of those quiet little products that just solves a problem without much fanfare. UPDATE 7/30/18: The same magic sliders have been on the same old wooden chairs for over a year and a half and they still work great. Wonderful!
