Good sound for the size but doesn't last long. Only buy them if you have no other choice. They only last about a year or two, even though they're labeled "marine" speakers. The material of the cone is of the lowest quality and will quickly degrade when exposed to the marine environment. Plan to change them often. I have a fourth set as no other speakers fit. Sony is obviously aware of this and isn't fixing the problem as it allows them to sell more speakers. UPDATE 1 YEAR LATER: It has been 1 year since I installed the last set of Sony speakers and they are completely broken. The material of the cone simply dissolved when touched. Watch the video to see for yourself! I ended up dropping them and installed 6" JBLs that fit the hole but need to drill new screw holes. Avoid Sony speakers for outdoor use.
