Bought this for my Sony Vaio VPCEH laptop to double the amount of RAM. I run Photoshop, Lightroom, Bridge and other resource intensive programs and need memory to run them efficiently. If you're a techie, there's no trouble installing it. As soon as I booted up my computer it recognized the hardware change and I had to reconfigure the settings and restart. The difference it made to the overall performance of the machine is amazing. I no longer have unresponsive programs or worry about losing my job. I definitely recommend this product.
