A refrigerator standing on a carpet does a good job
I rent out my second floor and wanted to give the tenants their own refrigerator. I had trouble putting the fridge on the carpet as I didn't want to create a fire hazard, nor did I want the fridge to spill onto the carpet. This turned out to be the perfect solution to my problem.
