Review on Complete Carburetor for Oregon Tools by Bart Elbrink

This block replaces the original carburettor on a twelve year old generator that has not been used on old gasoline for eight years. Instead of wasting time rebuilding the carburetor, I installed an Oregon carburetor, which worked flawlessly. The "butterfly" lever mechanism is a bit tricky. The generator started with three pulls on the rope. From the factory the alternator speed was slightly lower to produce full power, adjusting the mixture screw increased the engine speed and voltage although idling was rougher.
