Last Halloween we bought silver for my friend's costume. It was wonderful! Everything went very easily. He has long, shaggy brown hair and we wanted to look like a mad scientist (remember Einstein in his Salt and Pepper Years). The range was great! He usually hates hair products so we worked a little and gave him some extensions. It gets a bit stiff but we brushed it between coats and blow dried it a bit and it helped shape it. It took 10-15 minutes to get the desired look. He's put his costume on twice, and we've got a lot of this stuff left. Has held up very well and lasted all night! Of course it was October, so he wasn't sweating much. I can't comment on how it handles the heat, but I think it would be better than the spray paint you get at costume stores. Application can be messy, but to be honest applying by hand is what you need. His hair was clean and soft after washing. It washes off very easily and leaves no residue so I had no problem getting it off my hands and rinsing it out of his hair. I accidentally hit him in the neck and shoulder of a turquoise shirt as we were putting it on. I used a baby wipe and it came right off his neck and most of it came off his shirt (the rest came out in the wash). I would definitely buy again for any costume needs and would recommend to anyone wanting to play with color. ! Great for kids! Like I said - way better than any spray we could buy - great deal, great coverage, easy clean up and no damage!
