is an excellent purchase. This is a combination of two of my favorite controllers ever made: the Nintendo Gamecube controller and the Playstation Dualshock controller. That doesn't mean it's the best of both worlds, however, but it's a complete success for the most part. Pros: - Symmetrical dual analog sticks allow the D-Pad to be placed on the side it should be for navigating menus and playing retro games - Four shoulder buttons - The grip enhances the already ergonomic shape of the Gamecube controller. Very convenient. - The cable is at the top instead of the bottom like the original Classic controller - The analog sticks are further apart than the original Classic controller. my favorite triggers to date) - The analog sticks have an 8-way base like a Gamecube controller, which is annoying in 3rd person RPGs. - No rumble - The top R and L buttons are hard to press, not comfortable to press like Gamecube or Xbox 360 controllers - I really liked the design of the four front buttons of the Gamecube controller. It's a shame they went with a more traditional diamond layout, but it makes sense for the retro games the original classic controller was designed for. Overall, this is definitely one of the most comfortable controllers I've had. I really hope they re-release this controller with Wii U with Bluetooth, rechargeable batteries, rumble, triggers and round analog sticks. At this point, it would definitely become my favorite controller of all time.
