Review on 🚿 Convenient Shower Caddy: Wall Mounted with Towel Bar, Adhesive Bathroom Shelf Storage Organizer - No Drilling, Easy Kitchen Storage Solution by Andrea Thomas

A really flat surface is best.

Well made and oversized, this shelf works best on really flat surfaces. I installed mine on a fiberglass tub/shower insert wall and the wall had a slight curvature. The shelf bracket is a strip of baked plastic with three molded blocks, each with a thin flange, that snap into mating slots on the shelf. The curvature of my wall was just enough to encase the center block, so the shelf is only attached to the end blocks. Also due to the curvature I had to add two small hard rubber pads to the bottom of the back of the shelf to fill the gap and make it more stable. It is strong enough and should support 20 pounds. instead of 30 pounds. it's priced in, which should be plenty. Note that if my wall was a little less curved but still not flat, I'd have to cut the center block off to avoid interference. It will still work the same as mine. One downside, regardless of assembly, is that the gray or black shelf insert is permanently attached. It has drainage slits as well as a series of slits at the bottom of the white outer shell to allow water to drain properly. The problem is that you also get soap, shampoo, conditioner or whatever else you use through these slots. Over time, it accumulates in the white shell and there is no easy way to remove it. I plan on taking the shelf off and giving it a good rinse under the showerhead maybe once a week to prevent buildup.
