What a cool brush! Perfect size for long straight hair. I had one I bought straight from an Aveda showroom 15 years ago that ended up breaking so I bought this one. I have fine hair and this model seems to grab individual hairs between the base of the stubble and the stiffer, flexible rubber base of the stubble and then pull the hair out of my head as I finish the pull. That never happened with my old original. I brush my hair squeamishly off my brushes, but maybe the bristles don't grip my hair as much if I leave them on? I still love the brush.
