I am a tall, fat, elderly man and this belt is more than enough to wrap around my ever-increasing girth. I have the longest one because if desired it can be shortened from the side of the buckle. But you don't need it because it has a movable loop to hold the excess. So if you're like me and plan on getting fatter and fatter every day, drinking whiskey and eating cows, you don't need a new belt. The clasp is great! You just tighten it as tight as you like, and it's strong enough to use as a cargo strap in the bed of a pickup truck. I hit the press release and all my bacon falls on the floor. I will update this review if there are any issues but I've been using it for a few weeks now and it's great.
